A small selection of my recent commissioned pictures.

My Story

When I was going through my deceased mother’s belongings last year I was amazed to find a tiny pocket-sized paintbox of well-used watercolours, a miniature paintbrush and a small collection of her exquisite paintings (done when she was just 17 years old). The discovery was particularly surprising to me as I had absolutely no idea that my mother had been such a talented artist as she never painted again as an adult. As for myself, I do remember that I enjoyed painting when I was young but gave up after leaving school.

Inspired by my mother’s watercolours, and with an unusual amount of time on my hands during Lockdown, I decided to experiment. However, it is not just dogs and horses that I tackle. ‘Queenford Rufus’ is a handsome Cotswold ram whose portrait is now featuring on a Cotswold Sheep Society tea towel, which is being sold to raise money for the Society. He may be featuring on more merchandise soon.
